As we well know, logistics is a fast moving 24/7 business and this was recently underlined when Eezehaul MD Mark Duggan was presented with an unusual last minute logistics problem. Taking a break from business, Mark was at an event hosted by Bath and England rugby star Lewis Moody. With the trains delayed due to strike action it was looking likely that Lewis, who played in the winning 2003 World Cup side, would have to leave the event early to ensure he was back at Bath’s training ground bright and early the following day.
Called into action, Mark arranged a car and driver from West Sussex based Eezehaul to make the late night run collecting the valuable “freight” from London and delivering him safely to Bath, enabling the event to run smoothly.
Mark said “We pride ourselves on offering a fast and flexible service, but I have to admit that Lewis is the most interesting load that we’ve carried recently. It was a fabulous event and we’re delighted we could help”. |
