More than 30 children and young people won Crawley Youth Awards on Thursday (November 6) for their selfless acts, sporting achievement and artistic skills.
The Youth Awards, now in their fourth year, took place at The Hawth and featured performances from local youth groups. Mayor Howard Bloom said: "Young people often get a bad press so it's delightful to see so many here, winning awards and being nominated for great acts of public service."
The Youth Awards are organised by Crawley Borough Council, West Sussex Youth Service, West Sussex Youth Offending Service, Crawley School Sport Partnership and Sussex Police. Local businesses and organisations sponsor the awards.
